Courtesy of Sabrina. A few years back, after hearing about this project, my dear friend Sabrina picked up the heartsmiley torch and just started running. Wheee!

For as long as I've known her (since middle school days!), Sabrina has always been a force. She's got an energy and intensity that really light up anything that she's part of. In the years since she started playing along, she's made heartsmileys far and wide (from New York to Copenhagen!). And back in our hometown, where she's a high school teacher, she's even challenged her students to do the same, and keep the smiley wave spreading. Together, they've spread heartsmileys all over town!!!

One of my favorites of hers -- this very happy fall leaf. And they say every face made is a self-portrait of the artist... so, my dear friend, how lovely to see your radiant face reflected here. Thank you for always being the kind of friend who plays along!
